Customers walked out after not being waited on
I'm a regular customer here. During most recent visit, I observed several things that makes me question eating there again.
Cook was wearing rubber gloves and handling everything: handing out menus, holding to stair rails and then continue to cook.
Great food and great people work there.
Very understaffed. We had different waitresses while we were there. I ordered one of my sides and they were out but they didn’t even tell me or ask if I wanted a different side. They just brought the rest of my food and walked away. When they finally came to refill our drinks they poured sweet tea in both of our glasses....I had Pepsi and my mother had unsweet tea. It took 10 minutes to get a spoon for my 2 year old nephew to eat. My mother had to go down and get it herself because it took so long. Very disappointed.
Use to be a real good place to eat.
Tables were not cleaned off
It's 2017 and this kind of treatment of someone based on the color of they're skin is unacceptable. Everyone is entitled to have personal beliefs, but this should not extend to service related businesses for an abundance of reasons.
I attempted to eat here with my cousin who happens to be mixed race. The employees of this business refused him service and when we left and he sat down on the bench outside to gather himself, he was then told the police would be called if he continued to "loiter".
